Painted it dark green with vintage look LED lights and my dad got rid of the crappy remote control and hard wired it to the living room with a separate switch.

Before. Boring old black.

After. Lights up great at night.

He’s a lineman. the most simple job he could do :)

I dug the trench with a tiller. Had a fun time next to the tree with all the roots.

I still think The Magician’s Nephew, which explains how the lamp post got there, is the best book of the series. And I hated how the series ended (no spoilers).
